After receiving in the mail, it took about 3 minutes to install and start making calls. The best part is now when we're doing a family call we don't all have to huddle around a laptop or someone holding the phone. If I'm watching TV and a call pops up I can take the call on my 65" screen, then when I'm done the device puts my show right back on. The only things to keep in mind are need to pause your show before you take a call, and remember to flip the little privacy cover on the webcam lens (if you closed it) which is a good thing as I appreciate the attention to privacy Onscreen provides.

Can I install it easily?

If you can plug in an HDMI cable into your TV and can use a smartphone for the setup, then definitely! Otherwise we recommend you get a techie friend to help.

Can my parents see my kids?

Definitely! Seeing grandkids on TV is far more enjoyable than on the small screen of a mobile phone or tablet. Using our mobile app, you can show off the grandkids!

Can I use Zoom?

Absolutely! We've made it very easy to join your parent's TV to a Zoom meeting. All you have to do is enter the Zoom meeting code and password into our app, and they will instantly join.

How do my parents call?

If they have a smartphone or tablet, the can use that to initate calls to contacts that you set up for them. If not, they can use the One-Touch button on the device to call you, or another designated family member.

Does the TV always need to be on?

No. Our smartdevice is smart enough to turn most modern TVs on* and switch modes to the correct HDMI port.

Pay $39.99 activation fee today to get started. We will call you to confirm your order, then quickly ship the ONSCREEN hardware to your (or a loved one's) home, to connect to the TV. You'll receive the unit in 3-5 business days.

Our 30-day trial ensures you're fully satisfied with our service, starting from the date of purchase. If you're not happy, contact us for a shipping label to send back the ONSCREEN hardware, and we will cancel the subscription.

After your trial completes, you will be charged $29.99 per month for our service. The service continues until you decide it's no longer needed. You only pay for the ONSCREEN device subscription -- callers using our mobile app are free.

You can end your subscription anytime, and return the ONSCREEN device to us using the free shipping label we provide.

Returns

If you end your subscription, you must return the Spark hardware device. We will provide you with a pre-paid return label.
If you don't return the Spark device within 30 days of ending your subscription, you will be charged a fee of $100.
The returned device should be in good working condition, free of defects and blemishes. If not, we may charge a $100 fee.

Pricing & Billing FAQs

Is there a separate cost for the hardware?

No, there isn't. There's only the activation fee ($39.99) and the monthly subscription fee ($29.99). You return the hardware at the end of your subscription, just like a cable box with the cable company.

What happens if the hardware has a problem?

We will send you a new device to replace the it, and you just return the bad hardware to us, using a return label we provide. Easy!

When do I get billed?

After the initial 30 day trial, you will be billed for your subscription on the same day every month.

Can I get expedited shipping?

Yes, just go through the regular checkout process above, and then email us with your needs.

Do you ship to Canada?

Yes, but it's an extra shipping cost that we will provide to you after you complete the checkout. Usually it's about $20 more.
